Miami Agency

The Miami Agency is under the general supervision of the Line Officer in charge, the Agency Superintendent and services nine Federally recognized Tribes: Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma; Miami Tribe of Oklahoma; Modoc Tribe of Oklahoma; Ottawa Tribe of Oklahoma; Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma; Quapaw Tribe of Indians; Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma; Shawnee Tribe; and Wyandotte Nation. The Agency branches include Executive Direction, Tribal Services, Natural Resources, Real Estate Services and Probates. The Tar Creek Superfund Site is also located within the Agency’s administrative jurisdiction. As a result, the Agency also oversees a Natural Resources Damage Assessment Program and a Hazardous Materials program.
