Accepting Applications for BIA Water Tech Program FY25

We are pleased to announce the opening of the 2025 BIA WaterCorps Host Site Application period! Applications will be accepted for the entire month of September and close on October 1st.

The WaterCorps program, now in its third operating year, is designed to place Federally Enrolled Tribal Youth (18-30 years old OR 35 if a Veteran) in 6-month (or 26-week long) internships at select host sites across the country. Selected host sites will conduct in person local recruitment, provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities in Water Resources projects. Host sites may be affiliated with federal, state, county, tribal, municipal, or non-profit agencies.

These positions are fully funded by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and they partner with Conservation Legacy's Stewards Individual Placements, who act as the program administrators.

Applications are being accepted online HERE for the month of September and will take 30-40 minutes to complete. We are able to host 21-25 positions that will start ideally between April-July.

Upon submission you will receive a confirmation email of your answers for your records. All selected host sites will be notified in mid-October if they are selected.
