Seeking Indigenous Youth and Youth Presenters for the Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change

The 2nd Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change (GIYSCC) is a virtual conference that aims to provide dialogue by, for, and among Indigenous youth regarding climate change. This year’s summit takes place on August 9, 2024 and centers Small Island Developing Nations (SIDS).

Indigenous youth can register for free by visiting the GIYSCC registration page.

Additionally, GIYSCC is still seeking Indigenous youth presenters. If you are interested in presenting at GIYSCC-2024, contact the Indigenous youth leader for your region. Indigenous youth leader contact information can be found on the GIYSCC-2024 website.

About Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change

The first GIYSCC, which included over 1300 registrants, took place in 2023 and was hosted by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), one of GIYSCC’s founding partners.
