Rate Schedule #1 – RESIDENTIAL:
Residential Service Description: (See Operations Manual Section 1: Customer Information for full details)
Residence is defined as a dwelling that has full time living facilities i.e. full kitchen and bathroom facilities. This includes guest homes, mother-in-law quarters, and casitas.
This classification is available to customers with single-phase or three-phase electric service delivered through one meter to a single-family residence. This class is limited to a maximum metered demand of 25 kW per month and/or service panel less than 400 amps. Demand loads registering greater than 25kW two (2) months out of twelve (12) consecutive months, and/or 400 amp services or larger will be classified in the Commercial (see section 1.2.2.) rate class.
Rate Schedule #1:
- $10.80 for the first 100 kilowatt-hours or less.
- 7.5 cents per kilowatt-hour for the next 300 kilowatt-hours.
- 7.0 cents per kilowatt-hour for the next 800 kilowatt-hours.
- 6.0 cents per kilowatt-hour for all additional kilowatt-hours.
Power Outage:
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Colorado River Agency Electrical Services (CRA-ES) will endeavor to provide safe and reliable energy to its customers. CRA-ES shall use reasonable diligence to supply continuous service; but does not guarantee electric service against interruptions, and is not liable to the customer for damages, personal injuries and losses resulting there from acts of god/nature, nor will such failures constitute a breach of agreement for services.
In the event of a service failure, the customer must attempt to determine if the failure is due to a fault in his or her own equipment. If the fault is found to be in the customer’s equipment, or if the customer’s main breaker is in the off position, the customer will be responsible for the cost of a service call, see the After Hours - Power Outage page for more information.

Furnishing this information is voluntary; however failure to provide information will prevent you from receiving electrical service.
Service Fees:
A fee of $25.00 will be charged for reconnection of service due to non-pay and temporary disconnects
There will be a $45.00 service charge for any RETURNED CHECK
Customer service work orders $50.00 minimum
New service connection fee $100.00
Installation of Dusk to Dawn light $250.00 minimum
Tampering fee $1000.00
Overtime charge $200.00
