The Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process is continuing. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) invites the public to share any concerns or issues on the Draft PEA. The Draft PEA is now available for your review. Four public comment meetings will be held virtually to present information to the you and obtain your input.

The meetings will have information about the Draft PEA (Programmatic Environmental Assessment), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, and how to submit comments. Representatives from the BIA and Navajo Nation will be present to receive your comments. Navajo language translation services will be provided. During each meeting, there will be an informational presentation for the first 45 minutes in English, then the presentation will be translated into Navajo. An opportunity for questions, answers, and oral comments will be given after the presentation.

Comments must be received by June 23, 2021.
