Report on the Status of Indian Forest Lands

Report

In compliance with the National Indian Forest Resources Management Act, each year the Division of Forestry (DOF) develops and submits a report to Congress on the status of forests on federal Indian trust land.

DOF’s annual report to Congress compiles information on the management of trust forest lands including silviculture, reforestation needs, the availability of timber for sale, and the amount of timber sold by each Tribe.
