Page Banners

There is a new standard for our webpage photo banners. Page banners must be single photo files (gif, jpg, png) that are either supplied by the IA Public Affairs Office, purchased by the IA Web Team via iStockphoto or provided by the individual IA offices. All photos must be hi resolution and approved by the Public Affairs Office and the Web Team for use on the indianaffairs.gov website.

Collage banners consisting of various photos are no longer approved for use for page banners, but can be used for images that are displayed within the web pages. Any images or photos provided to the IA Web Team for banners will automatically crop to a fluid banner view.

Homepage Photos

The Public Affairs Office manges the homepage images on indianaffairs.gov. Requests to change photos on the homepage must be approved by Public Affairs and the IA Web Team.
