The Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) is a retirement savings and investment plan similar to the traditional 401(k) and Roth IRA. The TSP supplements your FERS retirement and is an important piece to your retirement planning. By contributing 5% each pay day, Indian Affairs will match the savings and over time your investments will grow.

Mandatory training is identified as critical to the development of employees to carry out the mission of the Department, mandated by statute or required by Departmental policy, and must be completed within the required timeframes.
Additional courses may be required each year. Employees should check with their supervisors to ensure full compliance with training requirements.
With the exception of Government Charge Card certification and QuickTime training, all training is taken through DOI Talent.
