- Reinvigorating Interagency work on Tribal Homeownership including, USDA, VA, BIA, and HUD:
- Joint outreach at conferences, such as HUD’s National Native Homeownership and Asset Building Summit
- Program Coordination - Leveraging respective programs to fill financing gaps when possible.
- Coordinating across federal agencies to address wide-ranging aspects of improving housing infrastructure in Indian Country
- Expanding Tribal housing and community development resources to assist Tribes in meeting local community needs.

About the WHCNAA Committee on Housing Subcommittee
Led by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the committee is currently focusing on:
- Coordinating across federal agencies to address funding resources for housing, infrastructure, and homeownership.
- Coordinating on joint training webinars, such as federal loan guarantee programs and the HEARTH Act
- Coordinating on braiding federal funds related to infrastructure, housing development, and energy improvements, such as solar.
