Interpreting and Relay Services

The Department provides interpreting and related services through a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to ensure that information and communication technology comply with 508 accessibility standards. The BPA covers the following services:

  • Document Remediation
  • Captioning
  • Audio Description
  • Sign Language Interpretation
  • Section 508 Testing and Training
  • Other Project Management Support Services

Additionally, the Department allows users to reserve Captioning and Video Remote Interpreting Services for online meetings and events. It supports the bureaus by offering Relay Services from the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) program.
